Name: The
League is officially named the "Rubberhead Racin' Series" or "RRS." The
name has been taken from the nickname of Rusty Wallace.
Purpose: To partake in the
greatest spectacle in sports, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
The NASCAR Sprint Cup series where you have to win to get
paid. To carry on the years and years of great tradition
started in the cold, cold winter of
1994. Or maybe just to give us something to do because
our lives have absolutely no meaning, but we seriously doubt
that.
Rules: (arbitrary and subject
to change during the year).
- Each owner can only pick a driver once throughout the races for the Chase (first 26 races).
Clarified: The same car may be picked more than once, but not the same driver.
- Prior to the Chase, points will be reset with the last place owner starting over with 2,000 points and each owner higher in the standings will get 1 additional point. 3 points will also be added for race win picked during the first 26 races.
For example: Last place will start with 2,000 and the next lowest will be 2,001.
- Each owner can only pick a Chase for the Cup driver once throughout the Chase races (final 10 races). Any of the chase drivers can be selected, but they can only be selected once.
- The picks must be submitted before noon, eastern on day before the race. This is before qualifying begins. The specific race deadlines will be listed in the "driver selection" section of the website.
- The BORIS SAID Rule: If the driver selected does not qualify for the race (or no driver has been selected), then the owner receives the driver who qualifies slowest. The driver who did not qualify can be used at a later race.
Note: If the driver who qualifies slowest has already been picked, then the selection reverts to the driver who qualifies second slowest from last and so on. It is called the Boris Said rule because often we wanted to use Boris Said at road courses, but did not know if he was going to be in the race.

Issues Not Covered by the RRS By-Laws: Issues
not covered by the RRS By-Laws will be put up for a vote
among the owners, who are not the commissioner. If the vote
ends up in a tie or the vote result is asinine, then the
commissioner will vote or overrule the asinine decision.
The commissioner's decisions will be made overall good of
the RRS, those decisions can be questioned, but it will not
matter. |
